Introduction
Welcome to monstera.club. This Fair Use Policy (FUP) is an integral part of our Terms of Service and helps ensure our Service remains stable, secure, and beneficial for all users.
Why We Have These Guidelines:
- To maintain service stability and performance for everyone
- To ensure our tools are used responsibly within platform ecosystems
- To prevent abuse while supporting legitimate creative uses
- To build a sustainable service that can grow with our community
Note: As an Early Access service, these limits are designed based on our current infrastructure and best practices. We actively monitor usage patterns and may adjust these guidelines as we learn and scale.
1. Core Principles
Our usage guidelines are built on these principles:
Shared Infrastructure
Our resources are shared among all users. These limits help ensure no single user's activity impacts others' experience.
Platform Respect
We're committed to being good citizens in the streaming ecosystem and discouraging behaviors that platforms consider disruptive.
Fair Access
Every user should have equitable access to the Service's capabilities.
Reasonable Use
Our limits are designed to support legitimate use cases while preventing abuse.
2. Usage Limits & Guidelines
All accounts are subject to the following usage limits. These are enforced through a combination of automated systems and manual review.
2.1. Bot Instances Per Channel
Maximum of 2 bot instances per streaming channel simultaneously
Why This Limit:
- Maintains a natural chat environment
- Prevents overwhelming streamers with automated messages
- Helps ensure compliance with platform community guidelines
- Keeps the balance between automation and genuine interaction
Example:
If you're managing multiple channels, you can have 2 bots active in Channel A and 2 bots active in Channel B, but not 4 bots in a single channel.
2.2. Bot Configuration & Active Limits
Create up to 10 unique bot configurations in your account
Run up to 3 bots concurrently across all platforms
Why These Limits:
- Configuration limit (10): Provides flexibility for testing different setups and maintaining multiple channels
- Active limit (3): Balances resource usage while supporting multi-channel creators
- These limits may be increased for users in our Trusted User Program (see below)
Example:
You might configure 10 different bots for different purposes (one for gaming streams, one for art streams, etc.), but only 3 can be running at the same time.
2.3. Message Rate Limits
Maximum of 4 messages per minute per bot instance
Why This Limit:
- Mimics natural human interaction patterns
- Prevents spam and maintains chat quality
- Ensures compliance with platform rate limits
- Reduces the risk of platform actions against accounts
Important Notes:
- This limit applies to all message types (regular chat, responses, etc.)
- On certain platforms, we may automatically reduce this rate further to comply with their specific policies
- This limit is designed to be sustainable for both our infrastructure and platform guidelines
- For most legitimate use cases (moderation, interaction), this rate is sufficient
2.4. Resource Usage
While most users will never approach these limits during normal use, we monitor for:
- Excessive API calls or system queries
- Unusual patterns that may indicate automation abuse
- Activities that place disproportionate load on our infrastructure
What's Considered Reasonable:
- Running 2-3 bots for your own streaming channels
- Testing different configurations to optimize performance
- Occasional peaks in activity during special events
- Using all available features within documented limits
What's Not Acceptable:
- Attempting to bypass technical limits through multiple accounts
- Running stress tests or load tests against our Service
- Using the Service for purposes other than live streaming assistance
- Creating artificial load to test our systems' limits
3. Trusted User Program
For Professional Users & High-Volume Creators:
If you have legitimate needs that exceed our standard limits, you may apply for our Trusted User Program. Approved participants receive:
How to Apply:
- Must have been using the Service for at least 30 days
- Demonstrated track record of responsible, compliant use
- Clear business case or use case description
- Email [email protected] with your request and details
All applications are manually reviewed. Approval is based on:
- Usage history and compliance record
- Legitimacy of the use case
- Platform feedback (if any)
- Current service capacity
4. Prohibited Activities
In addition to the restrictions in our Terms of Service, the following activities specifically violate this Fair Use Policy:
System Abuse:
- Attempting to circumvent or bypass any technical limits
- Using the Service for stress-testing, load-testing, or denial-of-service activities
- Deliberately degrading service performance for other users
Platform Violations:
- Configuring bots to spam repetitive, unsolicited, or nonsensical messages
- Using bots to artificially inflate engagement metrics
- Creating inauthentic interactions that violate platform policies
Account Abuse:
- Operating multiple accounts to bypass limits
- Sharing accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Using the Service in ways not related to live streaming assistance
5. Monitoring & Compliance
Our Approach:
We use a combination of automated monitoring and manual review to ensure compliance:
- Automated systems flag accounts approaching or exceeding limits
- We review unusual patterns or reported concerns
- We reach out to users before taking action when possible
As we're in Early Access, our monitoring systems are still being refined. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we improve our tools.
6. Violation Handling
Technical Limits
The system automatically enforces usage limits (concurrency, bot count, message rate, etc.). When limits are reached, operations cannot continue.
Violations
For malicious behavior (such as using multiple accounts to evade limits, sending spam, or abusing the service), we will take direct action, including but not limited to:
- Removing violating bot instances
- Suspending or terminating accounts
- Forfeiting refund eligibility
Appeals
If you believe the action was incorrect, please email [email protected]
7. Adjustments During Early Access
As an Early Access service:
- These limits may be adjusted based on user feedback and infrastructure capacity
- We may introduce new limits or relax existing ones
- We'll announce any changes through email and service notifications at least 14 days in advance
- Changes will not retroactively penalize existing usage patterns
We Value Your Feedback:
If you find these limits too restrictive or have suggestions for improvement, please email [email protected]. Your input directly shapes our policies.
8. Modifications to This Policy
We may update this Fair Use Policy from time to time to reflect:
- Changes in our infrastructure capacity
- Feedback from users and platforms
- Evolving best practices in the industry
- Legal or regulatory requirements
Notification Process:
- Material changes will be announced via email to your registered address
- Changes will also be posted on our website and in the Service
- The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision
- Continued use after changes indicates acceptance

[email protected]10. FAQ About Fair Use Limits
Why are the limits this specific (e.g., 4 messages/minute)?
These limits are based on analyzing natural human interaction patterns, platform guidelines, and our infrastructure capacity. They allow for meaningful bot activity while preventing spam.
Will these limits change?
Possibly. As we grow and our infrastructure scales, we may be able to relax some limits. We'll announce any changes in advance.
What happens if I accidentally exceed a limit?
Our systems will automatically throttle your bot to stay within limits. You'll receive a notification. Accidental, one-time occurrences aren't penalized.
Can I get higher limits without joining the Trusted User Program?
Currently, the Trusted User Program is the only path to higher limits. However, we're exploring tiered subscription plans that may offer increased limits in the future.
These limits don't work for my use case. What should I do?
Please reach out to [email protected] with details about your use case. We want to understand legitimate needs that aren't served by current limits.
Thank you for using monstera.club responsibly. These guidelines help us build a sustainable service that benefits everyone in the creator community.
